She has hired the stranger to murder those who have wronged her. Roger loves his wife too much to let that happen.

Patty O'Donnell had a surprise waiting for her on the other side of the door. Crystal claimed she needed help finding her uncle who had been thought dead for over sixty years. Patty and her Aunt Liz reluctantly agreed to help. Patty found out that Crystal did not have good intentions. Finding herself bound and held prisoner she fought to free herself to warn the innocent people in danger.

Juliana works for the District Attorney's office. When her friend's sister, Jesse, turns up missing, she does everything she can to be on the case. With the help of a very attractive undercover officer, Conway Lewis, she breaks the illegal prostitution ring responsible for the girl's disappearance.

Bill Jedburgh worked with or for Brigadier Wee taking on odd assignments. One of his assignments was to watch the back of the Hairy Filipino. Hairy was in for a surprise, when he found out he was the assignment. Bill did what he was told and took care of business.

Brandi Gilman is a struggling poetry student. When Dr. Thomas Vale is murdered, she sets out to find the killer. Unfortunately, she finds herself unsure of who she can trust with the evidence she has found.

The authors of this wonderful Anthology have the reader turning the pages. Filled with intrigue, murder, and mystery, these stories reflect the title accurately. I recommend this wonderful collection highly. Just make sure you have plenty of time to read it, because you will not be able to put it down.
