The Devil's Candy, which is the sequel to No Worries, has been accepted for publication by Whiskey Creek Press, and is scheduled for a May 2007 release.

Check this out!!! I've been chosen by the editors of Women in Motion, which is a small publication put out by Curves (a gym just for women) to be the debut feature in a new section of their magazine! Each month, they will feature a Curves member and highlight her achievements, hobbies, activities, etc. There are 9000 Curves worldwide, and although not every Curves subscribes Women in Motion, each Curves has several hundred members, making this is a wonderful promotional opportunity. Look for my picture, bio, and the cover of Growing Up Little in the August issue.

The first review for the HATE Anthology is in! Coffee Time Romance has awarded the book, which is the joint effort of 10 Whiskey Creek Press authors (myself included), 4 coffee cups. The entire review is posted on the REVIEWS page.

In late January, I was interviewed by Carrie Steele, a reporter for the Bay Weekly Newspaper. She was interested in getting a romance author's point of view on Valentine's Day. Check out the article here: Bay Weekly Article

A week after I did the first interview, I was contacted by Elissa Petruzzi, a graduate student who writes for the Capital News Service. CNS is a wire service whose stories go out to over 70 Maryland newspapers. Elissa was interested in how romance authors spend their Valentine's Day, and if our real lives mimic any parts of our books. Read the CNS article here: Valentine's Day Article

So far 2006 is off to a great start! It has given me a few exciting things to report.

To begin with, I now have a monthly newsletter! Signing up is free and easy. Just click the link on my home page!

Second, HER SHADOW, an 8,000 word short story I wrote last fall, has been accepted by Whiskey Creek Press. The story of Dalton and Scarlet is going to be published in an anthology entitled, HATE, which will be available in August 2006.

In other news, the sequel to NO WORRIES is finally complete! THE DEVIL'S CANDY is the story of Rebel's oldest brother, Blackie. It has been submitted to the publisher, and I should know sometime in April if it's been accepted!
