Rebel McCassey is the perfect bad boy with a family to match. Gypsy Lance is
on the run from her past when she settles into the small town in Maryland. With
little money and a big burden on her shoulders, she never imagined that the town
bad boy would become her salvation. In this amazingly compelling love story we
get swept along for this intense ride of emotions.
The entire McCassey clan captures your heart and brings you into their
family. Every page made me want to keep reading and I am looking forward to the
next book about this wild family of brothers and cousins.
Lauren Sharman has a homerun with this novel. Everything works and there is
no slack in the writing. This is one of those books that had me reading from
start to finish in one sitting.

Review
from Love Romances:
Gypsy Lance is new in
Hagerstown. It is as far as she could run in trying to
hide from her Baltimore City
past. With very little money but a whole lot of heart, she is just
trying to carve out a new life for herself. An unexpected encounter with
Reb, one of the town bad boys, leads to friendship and more. But a menace
from her childhood is about to be set free and he has vengeance in mind.
The McCasseys are considered the scourge of the town
with a family history of kicking up trouble that spans generations. Rebel
Raider McCassey wears the mantle of his heritage with pride and
discomfort. He loves his rabble rousing relatives but is weary of the
problems that they cause and of the biases that come with the name.
One thing about the McCasseys though is that they
all watch out for each other. If you have won their respect, and they
claim you as one of their own, well…no worries.
Rebel is like a redneck knight in very tarnished armor
riding a black tow truck and keeping the company of some rather dodgy
brethren. Their code of conduct can touch on chivalry but is more solidly
based on a rough sense of justice.
Gypsy is endearingly openhearted and
vulnerable. She is the personification of the good woman who is tough
enough to both love and stand up to her man and anyone else she sees fit.
No Worries
is a gripping story from beginning to end. Readers will thoroughly enjoy
the wonderful characterizations of regular folks who may be poor in terms of
wealth, but who are rich in family and loyalty. Several of the cast are
highly tobacco dependant and have an affinity to firearms. None of them
are averse to using the latter. Even readers who are uncomfortable with
both are likely to find themselves sucked into the story so thoroughly that not
much else will get their attention. So stock up your kitchen with food
ahead of time, open a cold one and settle in for a heck of a read.

Gypsy Lance
has been running for her life for as long as she can remember. Running
from her father because she testified that she’d seen him kill her mother.
Now as an adult, she has moved to the small city of Hagerstown to start over. Her past haunts
her, but she prays that she can begin again.
Rebel
McCassey finds Gypsy lost on his property and immediately knows she is new in
town. No one who was local would dare trespass on McCassey
property. He expects her to be frightened of him, but her openness and
charm wins him over, and by the time he walks her back to town, they are
friends
He knows
that if she stays friends with him, the locals won’t like it so he tries to
ignore her from that point on. But Gypsy isn’t a girl easily ignored and
as they draw closer together, they both find that being outcasts isn’t so bad
when they are together. But Gypsy’s past catches up with her, and she has
to decide whether her love for Rebel is strong enough to push past the fear.
This full
length sweetly romantic novel is a beautiful example of how judging others can
make us take a hard look at ourselves. The friendship between Rebel and
Gypsy grows slowly into a deep lasting love so real, the reader can feel the
emotion. The secondary characters are almost as interesting and we can
only hope that Ms. Sharman tells us more about the McCassey clan. Well
done on a great book!

Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews!!!
Gypsy
Lance is a free spirit, a young woman who is just searching for someone to love
her for who she is on the inside as well as the outside. Her mother loved her,
yet father hated her with a vengeance even to the point of threatening to one
day kill her for good. Gypsy doesn’t know why he wants her dead but one thing
is true, her life has been shadowed in fear, always wondering if today would be
the day she dies. Because of her father’s threat, Gypsy has stayed clear of any
man trying to befriend her. Yet for some reason, she becomes friends with Rebel
Raider McCassey. Here is a man who tempts her to do things she’s never done
before like learn to live again and have friends and a surrogate family. Once
she meets Rebel, she knows that one day he would mean something to her. Can she
learn to live without fear and learn to be loved by Rebel?
Rebel Raider McCassey is not a well liked person or even friendly for that
matter. So when he meets Gypsy, he wonders why she would befriend him. All his
life he and his family have been shunned from town because of his ancestors and
the trouble they always got into. Rebel knows it’s not a good idea to become
friends with Gypsy yet it becomes more than just friendship for him. Something
in her speaks out to him making him want to be a better man and for his family
to love her. His family has always had one motto in life: No Worries, and that
is exactly what he sets out to prove to Gypsy. No matter how tough life is or
even if someone’s out to get you, if you have no worries about it, life always
has a silver lining to it.
I loved No Worries by Lauren N.
Sharman for this author gets better with each book, never taking my
attention away from the book. I instantly fell in love with the McCassey clan.
Here is a family, who even though gets into trouble more often than not, sticks
together no matter how tough life is or who hates them. In a way I felt sorry
for Gypsy, a young woman who didn’t do anything yet her father wants her dead
and he is one despicable father to hurt Gypsy. All in all, Lauren N. Sharman did a great job with
this book from the beginning until the end, only making me wonder if there will
be more of the McCassey clan in the future. This reviewer would sure like to
know more about Blackie and Judd, Rebels brothers and if they’ll find their
soul mates.

Lips from Two Lips Reviews!!
Rebel MacCassey is a bad boy
you can’t help but love once you delve into his mysterious persona beneath the
surface. Gypsy Lance is on the run from a man who she put behind bars after she
witnessed him kill her mother several years before and whose parole is set to
commence. Practically destitute when she settled in a small town in Maryland,
she never imagined that the town’s bad boy would become her only life-line and
protector from evil. Although she’s afraid for her life, she’s also warm-hearted
and fiercely devoted to those she comes to love. She’ll defend
them without a care to what others think or ever thought of them.
In this story, you’ll
meet all the McCasseys with whom will pull on your heartstrings as well as urge
you to want to know even more about them. No
Worries
is a deeply moving, heart wrenching and suspenseful story from beginning to
end. Readers will thoroughly enjoy this read about a family from the wrong side
of the tracks who are loyal to one another to a tee and are a law among
themselves. You'll want to read why they’re the way they are and
why they feel such a strong need to protect what’s theirs.
Sensational is the
only word to describe Lauren
Sharman’s tale of suspense,
vengeance, and family loyalty and last, but not least, two lost souls searching
for a love they never thought possible! I was pulled in from the very
first page and couldn’t put this down until I reached its end. I
am looking forward to the reading more about this scrutinized close family that
consists of Rebel’s brothers and cousins.

Solid protection smothered with a love that is secure and a family willing to
give their lives for you. Who wouldn't want to have a life like that? I know I
certainly would enjoy that kind of security. So, having never watched my mother
murdered, nor had my father, the murderer, promise to end my life as soon as the
first chance arises, I probably cannot fully understand what Rebel McCassey
truly means to Gypsy Lance. I'd sure love to feel that kind of security anyway,
if only for a few moments.
Gypsy was only ten when she witnessed her mother's tragic, senseless death at
the hands of her father. And now, years later, when he is about to be released
from prison, Gypsy is determined to get as far from Baltimore as she can. She
packs her life into two knapsacks, spends most of her money on a bus ticket
going anywhere, and sets out. It doesn't take her long to find herself in
Hagerstown, Maryland, lost in a wooded area, and found by a six-foot-four man
with shoulder-length black hair and royal blue eyes named Rebel McCassey.
Rebel McCassey is totally intrigued by the young woman he finds traipsing
around on McCassey property. No one in town would dare to do that. Now this
shapely, seemingly helpless redhead is lost in his woods and cautiously accepts
his help to get back to her apartment. Rebel can’t believe that she'd even talk
to him, much less not be worried about being seen with him. The McCasseys aren't
exactly the most respected family in these parts. Feared is more like it. It
doesn't take long for Rebel to fall for this little lady. He offers her the
highest compliment a McCassey can offer to anyone, family or otherwise. He
promises Gypsy, "No worries." Gypsy soon comes to understand that this promise
is solid and true, backed by Rebel, his brothers Blackie and Judd, and several
aunts, uncles and cousins, and even the dog, named Outlaw; for the first time in
most of her life, Gypsy can truly take comfort in her life with the protection
of the McCassey family and the love of Rebel.
No Worries is probably the best love story I have read in years. Ms.
Sharman describes Rebel so clearly that he stirs my blood faster than a three
second funny car on a quarter mile track. Gypsy turns out to have a spunk all
her own, once she gets in with the McCassey family. Together, they guarantee the
safety and security of each family member in a down-home country way that
screams "no worries."

Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews!
Gypsy Lance has had a rough life;
her father murdered her mother and she spent years moving from one foster home
to another, never feeling wanted, and now her dad is about to be released from
prison and he has vowed to kill her. So Gypsy packs everything she owns into two
backpacks and flees as far as her money will take her. Gypsy finds herself in
Hagerstown and on her first day there takes a walk to look around and becomes
hopelessly lost on McCassey land. Rebel McCassey finds Gypsy roaming around lost
and is enchanted by her innocence yet intrigued by her strength and spunk. Rebel
is a large man and in this town his whole family are considered pariahs, yet
this spunky red-head isn't afraid of him and wants to be his friend? No one has
ever cared about the McCassey's and wanted to be a friend. In Rebel, Gypsy
discovers a kind man who loves his family; she has never experienced that kind
of love and loyalty in her life. But can Gypsy and Rebel find happiness in a
town that distrust and dislikes his whole family and as Gypsy comes to care
about Rebel and his family will they be safe if her father comes after her?
I loved Rebel and Gypsy. No Worries by Lauren N. Sharman is a
sweet love story in the middle of a suspense novel. All the elements of a good
suspense story are here, someone wants to kill or harm Gypsy, someone is
stirring up trouble for the McCasseys, and there is drama and action galore. But
despite the suspense, the romance between Rebel and in fact his whole family and
Gypsy is so sweet. Gypsy doesn't just fall in love with Rebel but with his
entire family and the feeling is mutual. It is easy to fall in love with this
gentle, misjudged giant and his family and Gypsy in spite of all she's
experience is a loving, yet spunky, soul. The fact that this book is just the
first in a trilogy makes it all the more special. I can't wait to read the next
installment and watch as the McCasseys grow and evolve into the wonderful loving
people they are meant to be. It will be an interesting "ride" to see how Ms.
Sharman manages to turn these rough men around and make them fit for society and
to see just what kind of women will love them!
